Originally from Norwich UK, Aaron has been living in his wife's native country of Australia for the past 6 years. Prior to moving to Brisbane Australia, Aaron was the lead singer of UK based band KAIROS which he founded in 2007. Within a few months of forming, the band won the Ultimate Event competition which catapulted them onto the scene via several live GOD TV appearances and playing festivals alongside the likes of Delirious and Toby Mac. The band released two EP's and came to an end in 2010. Soon after, Aaron moved with his wife to Brisbane in early 2011.
Since then, Aaron has been serving on creative team at Hillsong Brisbane as a volunteer leading the church in worship each weekend.
Aaron has collaborated with an incredible team of artists and musicians to create a brand new worship project. The new music project is produced by Ben Dennien, who has previously worked with Grammy award winners in Nashville. Ben is also a gifted session drummer and played on this project. Ben Whincop, (Hillsong United, Hillsong Worship and Hillsong Young and Free) played bass and is credited with mixing the project. Dustin Sauder (Kari Jobe) who resides in Nashville and is a gifted guitar player offered his electric guitar playing skills to the project. Andrew Threlfo (Hunting Ground Studios) played synths and programming and Charé Walton (Youth Alive Australia) appears on one of the songs as a guest vocalist.
"I am beyond blessed to have this group of guys play their part in this," said Aaron. “I love that we all actively play a part of building the Church in our own spheres of influence. I absolutely love the heart of our church Hillsong and this same spirit is in these guys that I've collaborated with." Aaron went on to say, "I simply want people to connect with Jesus, to find hope, freedom, healing and salvation through Him. Music was originally created by God for God, and songs of worship can totally do that. My prayer and desire is just that; point people to Jesus, because it's all about Him."
