I'll admit I was looking forward to a modern version of the Sister Act soundtrack so I was a little disappointed when I realised that wasn't what I had. However, this compilation is filled with the feel good factor that I associate with gospel music and it is definitely hard to keep the old feet from tapping along.

There are some great lyrical moments to back up the feel good melodies and smooth harmonies. Not Too Late To Dream speaks to the heart on a musical level and the spirit lyrically, "Times may be hard, but faith is the key" it strikes me as a message that many need to hear during these days.
Love Somebody Today was more the lyrical content that I expected with its feel good message of needing to Love Somebody Today over the retro almost blues sounding vocals and melody. Its simple rhythm makes it infectious in beat and melody but it's follow up, Help, sounds weak within the album setting. Close your eyes and imagine it in a Church gospel performance and you can see it living up to its full potential.
Invisible work incredibly well on paper, the idea that as a performer the motivation should be to fade away so only God is left, but the High School Musical feel to it left me feeling a little cheated and very sorry for singer Kierra Sheard whose voice is way too strong to be drown in the cheese that surrounds the song.
Extra Mile brings the album back up to its up-tempo home ground but this time with a dance/r&b feel to it which leaves it sounding like it would fit perfectly into the top 40 countdown and it's a shame to know that it wouldn't get the attention it deserved if it was released.
Ending with the slightly soppy but still worthwhile I Wish, this album finishes way too soon. It feels like a bit of a let down to only have 7 tracks on a compilation but at least they are 7 outstanding tracks which make a great feel good, passion filled album.
