Radio Disney Next Big Thing puts the spotlight on young recording artists and provides them with national broadcast and online exposure. Jasmine released her debut CD 'The Next Me' in May, saying: "My music is about being who God made me to be and not falling back into the world's standards. It's easy to find negative influences and do things we wouldn't normally do. Kids struggle with it all the time. But some friends and I have a saying we try to live by: keep it holy. That's my thing."
Kelly Edwards, Director of Music at Radio Disney said, "Jasmine is an incredibly talented singer/songwriter whose style truly represents the Radio Disney brand. Jasmine has immediately connected with our listeners and the Disney Channel audience, and we are thrilled to have her represent Radio Disney as our N.B.T."
