New Christian artist Randy James has released his debut single 'still matter.', the song shares a journey of the realization of love and acceptance by a loving Father God. In the midst of being ridiculously flawed, and ridden with anxiety, God loves us and wants us to hear his voice and to allow him to lift us out of this dark depression that overshadows the world.

The song was birthed in the midst of an intense case of anxiety as a result of battling an autoimmune disease in the middle of the world pandemic. He was reminded through the writing of this song, just how loved we are as God's children and once we accept this reality, we can dance like King David danced before God, with a heart of gratitude, humility and surrender. The listener will experience hopeful melodies and a nostalgic, yet emotional journey to acceptance by Jesus.

Randy James is originally from the Big Island of Hawaii, but was raised in San Diego, CA where he currently lives with his wife and kids. He is the worship leader for a young local church in Oceanside, California, Life Point.
Randy's Musical inspirations range from Switchfoot's Jon Foreman, to Dan Layus of the band Augustana (an old friend from high school...) Randy has also been inspired by bands like Jars of Clay, Mumford and Sons, Ben Howard, Paolo Nutini, Jack Johnson, Wilder Woods, NEEDTOBREATHE, and Colony House.
