Newsboys Announce Plans To Record New Live Album
Newsboys have revealed plans to release a new live album. The band will record two of the shows on their 'God's Not Dead Tour' this week for the forthcoming project, although no release date has been announced as of yet.
Writing on Twitter the band said, "After a few days off, we're back at it this week [with] 2 shows. Thursday [12th July] at Lifefest in WI, and Saturday [14th July] at Sonshine [Festival] in MN. We will be recording both shows for an upcoming live album, so come out and be a part!"
The band released their latest album, 'God's Not Dead', in November featuring covers of popular worship anthems such as 'God's Not Dead (Like A Lion)', 'Forever Reign', 'Revelation Song', 'Your Love Never Fails' and the Hillsong classic 'Mighty To Save' which was also included on Newsboys previous album, 'Born Again'.
The new album will be Newsboy's first live album since Michael Tait took over as lead singer from Peter Furler in 2009, and the first live recording since the band released 'Houston We Are Go' on CD & DVD in 2008.
