TobyMac Leads Christian Artists In 2013 Billboard Music Awards Finalists

The finalists for the 2013 Billboard Music Awards have been announced this week, with tobyMac receiving nominations in all three of the Christian categories; Top Christian Artist, Top Christian Album and Top Christian Song.

The 2013 Billboard Music Awards will air live on Sunday, 19th May on ABC from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, hosted by Tracy Morgan and executive produced by Don Mischer.

Casting Crowns, MercyMe and Matt Redman all received two nominations, whilst Chris Tomlin, Lecrae, Big Daddy Weave, Building 429 and Newsboys received one nomination each.

"Billboard Music Awards finalists were based on key fan interactions with music, including album and digital singles sales, radio airplay, touring, streaming and social interactions on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, VEVO, Spotify and other popular online destinations for music", explains Billboard.
