Tree63 Announce One-Off Reunion Tour In South Africa
Popular South African rock band Tree63, who parted ways back in 2009, have confirmed that they will be reuniting this month for a short one-off reunion tour in South Africa.
The band will be performing live at Pretoria's Atterbury Theatre on 14th and 15th April 2014, Johannesburg's New Life Conference Centre on 16th April, as well as at the 25th anniversary of the Splashy Fen Festival on 17th April.
Tree63 released their last album 'Sunday!' back in 2007 after more than 10 years together. They performed a small number of dates in 2008 and 2009 before lead singer John Ellis became a solo artist. Ellis released 'Come Out Fighting' in 2010 and 'Rural' in 2012.
Whilst the band are not believed to be planning a permanent reunion, this four-date tour marks the first time they have played live together for 5 years. Renowned South African singer/songwriter Jason Zeeman will be supporting Tree63 on the tour.
