Vineyard's UK Youth Gathering Captured On 'Rooftops' Album

Apr 14 2014

The latest offering of worship from the UK's Vineyard Records will be an album titled 'Rooftops', capturing the sound of Vineyard youth worshipping together at their annual gathering 'Dreaming The Impossible' (DTI) held at the Lincolnshire Showground in the UK over the last two years.

Released on 20th May 2014, the album features emerging young worship leaders Joel Barber (aged 17), Jake Bateson (18) and Beth McNeil (17) who have been mentored and encouraged by veteran Vineyard worship leader and songwriter Dave Miller from Trent Vineyard who started leading worship at DTI when he was only 15.

Dave wrote 3 new songs specifically for DTI 2013, 'Rooftops', 'You Rose Up' and notably 'Jesus I Come To You' which was written the night before last year's event and calls us to come to Jesus "no pretending, no hiding" just as we are.

The title track, also written by Dave, sets the tone for the album with a huge synth hook that puts a smile on your face and celebrates the beautiful news of the gospel.

'Rooftops' brings you the energy and zeal of these brand new youth anthems as well as celebrating fresh arrangements of classic Vineyard songs such as Brenton Brown's 'Hallelujah (Your Love Is Amazing)', Jeremy Riddle's 'Furious' and a cheeky dubstep remix of 'Forever Changed'.

'Rooftops' Track Listing:
