Melissa Hubert Records Second Album 'Jericho' With Phatfish's Mike Sandeman

Dec 17 2014

Brighton based singer/songwriter Melissa Hubert has released her second solo album 'Jericho', produced once again by Phatfish keyboard man Mike Sandeman.

Her voice has matured and has an extraordinary purity which perfectly suits the rich musical textures on these tracks. Many of the songs look at the lives of familiar bible characters from new perspectives, while others expose the more vulnerable side of Melissa's character.

The new album will be available on iTunes in January 2015 and follows Melissa's debut release 'Beyond The Frame' (2012).

The songs range from high energy declarations of her strong faith in Christ, through to tender pieces that aren't afraid to expose her vulnerable side, whilst others reintroduce us to bible characters from a fresh perspective.

With the help of producer Mike Sandeman and some wonderful musicians, this is all presented on a rich musical palette.
