As a collection of songs, this album is actually very good. 'At The Cross (Love Ran Red) is a great song, 'Holy Spirit, You Are Welcome Here' stirs the heart and soul, and 'We Believe' is a beautiful and haunting worship song.
We might have heard enough versions of Ben Cantelon's Love Came Down, although admittedly this one isn't too shabby. And that sadly can be a compilation's biggest downfall, the fact that it can feel like the songs are rehashing the same old popular tracks, yet thankfully this album doesn't struggle in that regard too much. You might know the majority of the songs here, yet I don't think I would say they are over used.
This is a solid compilation album. Christ Be All Around Me is a standout track that is nearly worth the cost of the album in itself. It's down to taste and preference if you prefer the original versions of these songs. Yet the versions on this album hold their own well. If you are looking for a new series of albums to get stuck into, maybe #Worship is worth checking out.
