'Come Back Fighting', the brand new album from Philippa Hanna, is released today. The album comes amidst a formidable 29 date support tour for BGT winning vocal group Collabro, and is her 6th studio offering marking 10 years of making music and well over 1000 live performances.
With much of the album written in Nashville, Philippa has brought together a range of pop, country and gospel influences, assembling an impressive collection of musicians. With features from BBC Radio 2 presenter Paul Jones on harmonica, world-champion banjo player John Dowling and a leading UK gospel choir, the album was recorded at Chairworks Studios in West Yorkshire. Working with long-term collaborators guitarist Roo Walker and manager Andy Baker, the production has a fresh and unique flavour that won’t leave fans disappointed.
"I'm so excited that today is the day my brand new album 'Come Back Fighting' is released" shared Philippa. Discussing the album's tracks, Philippa goes on to say, "If you want a smile to break across your face, give Dorothy a spin. If you’re wanting to go the extra mile on the treadmill, crank up Do The Unthinkable. If you’re in need of a pick-me-up for the weekend, take a listen to The Hero. If you want to get your praise on, have a sing-along with I Saw The Light. If life has knocked you down and you need a new motto turn the speakers up for Come Back Fighting."
