London's KXC Release 2 Songs From Forthcoming Live Worship Album 'All Things New'

Jun 22 2018

KXC, King's Cross Church London, will release their new live worship album 'All Things New' on Friday 13 July. Two songs - 'Be Lifted Up' and 'All Things New' - will be released on 22 June, both of which have proven especially useful to the worship at KXC.

The chorus for the song ‘All Things New’ was written by Rich Dicas in Mtwapa, Kenya, in a time of worship surrounded by brothels and sketchy-looking nightclubs. The song is a prayer for hope to arise in the darkest places and a song of deliverance for those in the worst situations imaginable.

'Be Lifted Up' is a song written by Tom and Sarah Eccleshall and is about choosing to put Jesus at the highest place in our lives. We all worship something or someone - just look at the trail of our time, affections, money, loyalty... But only Jesus can bring true life and freedom. ‘Be Lifted Up’ is a song of declaration, that we want to enthrone Jesus in our lives. When we give our worship to anything else, these things will ultimately enslave us. Only worshipping Jesus brings us freedom.
