Crossroads Music To Release New Single 'Impossible Miracles'

Mar 14 2020

Crossroads Music, a ministry of the Cincinnati, Ohio-based Crossroads Church, releases a free Easter Resource Pack to churches and worship teams beginning March 13. Crossroads will also release its latest single, “Impossible Miracles,” a follow-up to their song “God Of The Breakthrough,” to digital streaming and sales platforms on March 27.

Led by director Robbie Reider, Crossroads Music is a collective of artists who create music for the Crossroads Church family and the global Church, focusing on theologically-sound, scripture-based songs.

“What we sing informs what we believe and what we do,” says Reider. “Our songwriters are writing the theological statements that our people are singing. It’s crucial that we write vertical or vertically inspired songs that are in line with scripture… songs of hope that remind us of what is true, songs that reflect the eternal nature of God.”

For their Easter Resource Pack, Crossroads is offering mp3s, chord charts, slides, stems and instrumental tracks for their songs “Oh The Power,” “Let Me” and “Redemption Song.” The trio of tracks focus on the sacrifice and resurrection of Christ and the salvation, redemption and eternal life found in Him. In addition, Crossroads has partnered with MultiTracks for a limited-time discount on “Oh The Power” using promocode OHTHEPOWER.

Of the new single, Reider says, “‘Impossible Miracles’ is one of those laser-level songs, pointing us back to God’s faithfulness throughout history, not just in our temporary experiences or from our perspective.”

In the shadow of giants, at the edge of the sea / In the dark with the lions, and every wall
that faces me / When the fear is surrounding, and the roar of an enemy
Your voice will be louder with the promise of victory I’m ready… I’m ready…
For impossible miracles found in You, found in You

Crossroads worship leader Erica Bostick, who sings lead on “Impossible Miracles,” cowrote the song with team members Joshua Seurkamp and Justin Mosteller (Carrollton) and Chad Carouthers (BEC Worship). Recalling the writing process, she adds: “We had just been talking about ‘God of the Breakthrough’ and of His promises and faithfulness when we began writing ‘Impossible Miracles.’ So, it has a strong bend toward hope and faith-building. That’s our prayer… that it encourages and strengthens the faith of anyone who listens because our God still does impossible miracles.”
