The first thing that jumped out at me on this song is the lovely chord sounds in the verses, I know that sounds really geeky but when something works musically it really ticks a load of boxes for me. Now this is where this band and song gets interesting. You can tell this song is set up for the local church to worship God with, yet in many ways it doesn't sound like an obvious Sunday morning song, but it should be. (That's a different blog for another time.)

The melody line is lovely, the chords are lovely, the chorus is catchy, the music is creative, the song has so many layers, you really need to get into this song. I hate telling people this is a great new song they need to hear, but with Local Sound I think you do need to look at worship music in a different way, and maybe Local Sound is one of the many different musical sounds of expressing love to God and is well worth checking out.
