Manchester, England, based worship leader Joe Brady is currently in the process of finishing his debut EP 'Awake', which will be released in September 2015. The five-track EP will also have a few added bonus tracks and be available for free through NoiseTrade and Bandcamp.
"My passion for music, and in particular, worship music, came quite late on compared to others", admits Joe. "Many people who go on to be artists start their story with something like 'I've been singing all my life. It's always been a passion of mine.' But for me it was different.

"My passion for music, and in particular, worship music, came quite late on compared to others", admits Joe. "Many people who go on to be artists start their story with something like 'I've been singing all my life. It's always been a passion of mine.' But for me it was different.
I didn't really start singing until I was fifteen. I've always held a passion for music but always struggled with self-confidence. In fact, the only reason I became a worship leader at my local church was because I was asked to sing at a wedding.
People didn't even really know I could sing until that point. But things seemed to snowball from there and very soon I was leading worship regularly at my church.
I've been writing songs ever since I started leading worship, and for a while I was in a band called King's Arrow. We started in 2013 and were together for about a year and a half before, unfortunately, we decided to bring the band to a conclusion. We had some great times leading at a few places and recording in the studio.
In July 2014 we released our first single 'King Forever'. It was great to be a part of that band, but it seems God had other ideas in terms of His calling on some of the other guys lives. So it was right that we brought the band to a conclusion, but I still wanted to finish the project we'd started, and after talking it through with my wife and close friends I decided to carry on.
And so here I am today, still burning with a passion to see the name of Jesus lifted high through music; still burning with a desire to see churches inspired to go further into the things of God in worship; desperate to encourage, empower and equip churches to think about their worship and how they can develop their musical gifts; wanting to create music that can both encourage the church and reach those who do not yet know Jesus."
