After this truly 21st century introduction, I listened to snippets on their website and was seriously excited to learn a few months later that their fourth studio album, We Will Not Be Silent, was finally being sold in the UK.
From the opening riffs of Bigger right up to the final beats of Live Life Louder this album is stunning. It is praise in its most passionate and unapologetic form. Each of the 10 songs on this album could stand alone, yet fit together perfectly; there isn't a single track to skip over. In places, perhaps the lyrics could be deeper or more spiritual, but the truth of the matter is that the formula works and at least 95% of the lyrics scream passion and unshakeable Faith that is contagious, 'Desire' being a brilliant example.
New York tells the tales of living in a band on the road knowing that it is all for God and, because of that, all worth it. The album's title track rocks the unashamed message of our salvation for the world to hear and Bigger kicks the album off perfectly with the proclamation 'My God is bigger than this World'.
Singer Naarah's voice is melodic, emotional and powerful in all the right places giving the album intensity and sincerity to match the rocking beats and killer riffs. Close your eyes while listening and you can picture an epic live show filled with energy and worship that the crowd can't help but join in with.
These guys have been touring America for the past few years and this album shows why they were able to move from Australia to America to continue further their ministry. Hopefully, with the launch of this album on this side of the pond, their next step is the UK.
