Since the beginning, the heart of Momentum Music has always been to write songs that serve as spiritual markers in the journey of our church and God’s work in His people.

As always when you approach a review of a new artist that you have never had the opportunity to hear, you start with a feeling of worry but also excitement. Excitement because it's new and worry because, you just don't know what to expect.
What I found with this album was in fact very good. 'Hope Has A Name' is a strong album with some top songs. The album as a whole digs into the modern worship sounds that other artists are producing on their albums at the moment.
These songs are for the church to join together and worship with. The songs go from airy synth pop worship to the more dance beat inspired 'Send Your Fire', plus the more standard guitar worship sounds. Everything is thrown musically at these five songs.
For me the track 'Hope Forever' is a brilliant song, an instant classic if you will, the song became my standout track from the start. 'Your Love' is also a lovely song with great lyrics and melody. To single these songs out is not really fair, as all the tracks on the EP are really good, and there isn't a weaker song on here.
Being as it is only a 5 track mini album/EP, this is a great starting point. Hopefully there will be more tracks to come from Momentum Music - but until then, this collection of tracks is worth a listen if you have a moment.
