"I spent 8 years touring with Noel Robinson and in that time I have seen so many different expressions of worship across various Church streams", says Richard. "Time and again I have seen the Spirit move through different expressions and as a result, I love seeing the whole breadth of the Church represented in the songs of worship that we sing."
"My desire is to see people released into the fullness of who God has created them to be. I believe we are transformed when we connect with God, so every time I lead or write a song I’m looking for that connection."
Richard was born and raised in South-East London. In this environment of multi-cultural interaction he was exposed to many different kinds of music. As a result, Richard has a very eclectic taste in music which ranges from Pink Floyd to John Williams or Jeff Buckley to Pharrel. He is drawn towards any music that contains heart felt authenticity.
Richard believes that music is to communicate emotion and idea. He wants to be pulled into the artist's world. His desire is that people would experience that through his music. That in the process of listening to the sounds and lyrics , that you, the listener, would find some common experience and recognise that you are not alone.
