Marcus’ new single delivers a worship experience full of the word over a non-traditional trap style beat/melody. Listeners not only get a fresh approach to worship through the new single, but the song is full of scripture and saturated with heartfelt emotion that can be filled throughout the song! This is his first official song released under Rapture Ready Productions.
“My heart has been burdened lately by all the social injustice and social immorality that has divided our world and caused so much chaos,” stated Selders. “It’s time for us all to do a heart check and truly seek the Lord so that as a collective we can begin to see a change and be the change the world needs.”
It's often said that actions speak louder than words yet in some cases it's the words you speak that can cause life-changing actions. Marcus is a native of Zachary, Louisiana. He is an anointed psalmist, songwriter, and worship leader. Marcus is currently a faithful member under the leadership of Pastor Nathaniel Selders at Humble Beginning Outreach Ministry in Clinton, LA. He is married to Ashley Dashaun Selders and together they have two beautiful daughters Gabrielle & Aubrey. Marcus serves as music director and the worship leader at his church where he is passionate about authentic worship and helping and inspiring others to move their gazed spirit away from the worship leader and focus upon the object of their worship, God Himself. He is truly a humble, yet a very passionate worshiper.
Marcus not only spends his time recording music and leading worship but he goes monthly into EBR parish prison to speak or sing, countless outreach events in his community to give back to the less fortunate, and believes a great deal in donating his time to the widows.
Marcus’ ministry has touched and drawn people to seek a deeper relationship with God. His prayer is that God be pleased and someone, somewhere who hears his message and his ministry will experience Jesus in a greater way.
