Ohio-based, LoveLike Violence took a 6-year hiatus to focus on family and their daughter Emberly, now 5-years old. Stephanie and Stephen’s love for the daughter inspired them to write a new song dedicated to Emberly, bringing them back to their passion for music. After playing the record for their label head Akil Brown, they collectively decided it was time to get back to the studio. A year later, their new project, Paper Bag, was born.
Fans will notice that LoveLike Violence brings a new sound to Paper Bag. This new project is a true blend of each band member’s musical taste, taking bits of rock, country, and rap, fusing them with Christian-based lyrics to create a perfect blend rooted in each band member’s musical DNA.
“Apocalypse” will be available on all streaming platforms starting May 20, 2022. Their sophomore album, Paper Bag, is expected to be released later this year.
