'Heaven Help Me' is a Blues - Soul - Gospel groove reminiscent of soulful Stax and Motown classics complete with a cool Memphis Horn section and Gospel inspired back-up vocals. 'Heaven Help Me' is the first single from Aaron’s upcoming E.P. set for release in the coming months.
“We have had a great 12 months as far as our music goes” said Aaron “we are hoping that these new songs are received equally as well. I’m also finding it refreshing to not be tied down to one particular style and being able combine blues, soul and gospel elements.”
After his recent signing to US label Grace Records Nashville, Aaron’s song 'Strongest Soldiers' has been nominated for Social Impact Song of the Year at this years Josie Music Awards.
Aaron has been nominated in two other categories at this years Josie Awards; Male Artist of the Year and Musician of the Year 'Guitar' for his 2023 US Top 50 chart entry 'Strongest Soldiers'.
'Strongest Soldiers' was also voted no.4 Single of the Year by Louder Than the Music magazine.
“To be nominated for one Josie Award is amazing” said Aaron “But, to have three Nominations including for Social Impact is humbling. Add to that the prestige of being at the Grand Ole Opry where so much great music has been performed… it’s exciting.”
2024 has seen two of Aaron’s singles enter the Cashbox Top 100 Independant Country Chart, with his second Grace Records release 'Why Don’t We Hear Old Waylon Anymore' also reaching into the top 100 in the US and debuting at no.39 in the Australian Country Chart.
Aaron’s New Single, 'Heaven Help Me' is a further foray into the Blues and Gospel market that was explored on his first E.P. release 'Watching the Whole Town Burn'.
Aaron will be in the US for several weeks, with the Josie Awards held on the 27th of October.
