He earned a bachelor’s degree from Howard University; a Master's in Sociology from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and a Master’s Degree in Christian Ministry from Oral Roberts University. Additionally, Pastor Porter has been an executive in the healthcare industry for twenty years. In 2003, he co-founded (with his wife) Staffing Etc., a thriving healthcare staffing firm that services clients throughout the U.S.
