Marija Clara is known for her characteristic sultry & soulful vocals and emotive compositions that pull you in with soft multi-layered harmonies. With multiple countries to call home, the international, quadrilingual artist considers her true mother tongue and true home to be...music. Hailing from a Lithuanian family of celebrated professional musicians, Marija Clara started composing at the young age of 11. Mentored by her father, the acclaimed saxophonist Petras Vysniauskas, Marija grew up performing on stages in Lithuania and across Europe.
Marija’s eclectic sound is a testimony to her colourful life experience. After English Literature studies at the University of St Andrews, Scotland, Marija Clara went on to study Music Production & Composition at Leeds Conservatoire, where she was mentored by the Grammy-winning producer Dom Morley (Amy Winehouse, Adele, Sting, The Staves).
Marija Clara’s debut EP ‘Deep Dive’ has gained critical acclaim and placed her among the new generation of Soul/Indie R&B artists.
