In reflecting on the creation of "Power," Limoblaze shared, “This song is about the Power of God being unmatched. It is only through His sovereignty that we are able to experience the fullness of life. This record didn’t quite fit the album initially. I had a vision, but it felt incomplete until I brought nobigdyl into the mix. His unique style and energy made the track just right, and I can’t wait for everyone to hear it!”
The leader of AfroGospel (Afrobeats + Gospel) saw major response to his August ‘24 LP “Young & Chosen,” - the first project he released with Reach Records: a debut at #18 on the Gospel Albums chart and #47 debut on the U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart.
The excitement surrounding Limoblaze continued to build following a recent unforgettable show at London’s O2 Kentish Town Forum, where over 3,000 fans gathered to experience a night of incredible music and community. Limoblaze headlined the event alongside an impressive lineup featuring Anike, Sam Rivera, WHATUPRG, and other notable artists, creating an atmosphere filled with joy and celebration.
With "Young & Chosen (Power Pack)," Limoblaze is poised to further connect with his audience and showcase his artistic growth. The new release, combined with the energy from the London show, sets the stage for what promises to be an exhilarating season for the artist and his fans.
Limoblaze has amassed a following of over 500,000 on social media, with previous singles collectively generating 600K+ uses on TikTok and propelling him into three Billboard charts, including the US Afrobeat Chart and others. He was also awarded ‘Best Gospel Act’ at the 2024 MOBO Awards.
Young & Chosen Power Pack is being released by Atlanta-based record label Reach Records, which has been integral to Limoblaze’s rise to prominence since signing in 2021. Other Reach Records artists include GRAMMY-winning Lecrae, as well as chart-topping and RIAA certified platinum artists, Andy Mineo, Hulvey, Tedashii, Trip Lee, 1K Phew, Wande and WHATUPRG.
