Five piece rock band Runaway City will release their debut album 'Armored Heart' on 22nd June 2010. Formed in Greensboro, North Carolina, Runaway City have become the first artist to sign to new label Vertusent Records. Produced by Jason Elgin (Collective Soul, Terrible Things) at Synchromesh Studios in Birmingham, Alabama, the 10 track album features huge rock songs with massive anthems and choruses, to beautifully melodic rock ballads.

The album's first single 'Fade' is already available on iTunes. Runaway City is made up of Tyler Ricketts (Guitar/Backup Vocals), Chris Burrow (Drums), Josh Edwards (Vocals), Jace Bowman (Lead Guitar) and Jon Thompson (Bass Guitar). Tyler Ricketts comments, "We want Runaway City to be a safe haven for people. Whether it be from a lyric or something said from stage, we want to offer listeners a chance to escape all the things going on in their lives. We hope to give them a glimpse of hope, if only for a moment, to help them carry on with their day to day."
