American Christian band Sons Of God are aiming to raise funds to record their debut full length album by using an innovative incentive based donation approach. Individuals are encouraged to donate in increments ($10, $25, $50 etc) with each donation tier corresponding with a reward. The band must raise a grand total of $7,000 by 8th November. If only a portion of the money is raised by the deadline, the band will not receive any of the financial support pledged. If they are successful they will record the album with Jared Fox in Nashville at Fox Den Studios, and as with all Come&Live! releases, the album will be given away as a free gift to anyone interested.
The new album will follow the bands previous release, 'The Genesis Prologue EP', which has generated over 5,700 downloads via comeandlive.com alone. "For over 3 years we've been patiently awaiting the day where we can release a record that we poured our hearts and souls into together, and that day is drawing near!" shares the band. "But before we can do this, we've got to spend time in the studio; this is where you come in. With your help, we will be able to spend 4 weeks tracking the new record and we want you to be a part of this with us. When you donate, you're enabling us to accomplish what God has called us to as a ministry, you'll be helping cover the cost of this record."
