It's September and I have been sent my first Christmas album to review, but this album is recorded by none other than the amazing "Kings Chamber Orchestral". It's packed with 12 amazing Christmas Carol that we have all heard every year around December since we were children, from 'Silent Night' to 'O Come All Ye Faithful' to 'Ding Dong Merrily on High'.

For those who don't know who The Kings Chamber Orchestral are, they are a London based professional chamber orchestra, founded over twenty years ago by award winning cellist and Jerseyman, Gerard Le Feuvre. They have released many CDs over the year but in the last few years have released two very well received albums in "String Heaven" and "String Heaven 2 - Lost In Love", but now with this Christmas album what can we expect?
As with the last two albums, "Christmas String Heaven" is of 100% pure recorded quality. The musicianship is amazing and for what it is, this album is top quality. If anything it made me get into the Christmas Spirit already. Some of these songs will get you singing with glee and some will bring a tear to your eye with such beauty of the songs, 'Pastoral' being one of those songs.
Being as this album is released in October I still think it's a bit early to start playing in your CD player, but one thing this album has got me doing is thinking what am I going to get everyone for Christmas Day! Thankfully this album might just make it into someones stocking. The perfect album to play around the house this Christmas.
