Hailing from the rural border town of Monaghan, Ireland the Remission Flow know what division and empty religion looks, sounds and feels like. But that has only served to make the release and freedom found in Christ all the more sweet.

Read More Hailing from the rural border town of Monaghan, Ireland the Remission Flow know what division and empty religion looks, sounds and feels like. But that has only served to make the release and freedom found in Christ all the more sweet.
The band came together in late 2010 for the sole purpose of playing at a local youth event. What followed was a whirlwind romance with the Holy Spirit and a God who wants our all, body, mind and soul.
"The core of the Remission Flow consists of seven ordinary people, living ordinary lives from incredibly diverse backgrounds. We became friends, inseparable and truth be told we prayed more than we rehearsed, poured our hearts out to each other and developed a heart wrenching burden for the lost, the hurting and the disenfranchised," explains Darren.
The Remission Flow signed with 7core Records and released their debut record 'The Light That Floods' to widespread critical acclaim in 2012. These songs inspired by a Saviour whose light cannot be overcome by the darkness and apathy of the modern world resonated deeply with those searching for something to hold onto. Since then, countless people have found relationship with Jesus, known the freedom of Christ and have returned to the King throughout the UK, Ireland and further afield.
April 2014 sees the release of the band's second album 'Rhythms of Grace' a record that draws the listener up from their daily existence and encourages us to "get away" with Jesus. These songs speak of trials, struggle and disappointment but always point to the remedy and our hope. "It's in the fixing our eyes on Jesus, in sitting at his feet and through worshipping God that we find the rest for our souls that so often eludes".
"These past years have been an incredible privilege and we are humbled daily by God's favour which has allowed The Remission Flow to develop into much more than a band. This has become a ministry, a community and more than that, a family," explains Darren.
"We love music and treasure the gifting's that God has given us but we have never been interested in singing songs for their own sake. Jesus has commissioned us as to proclaim the good news with every sinew in our bodies. We fail at times but somehow God’s strength is magnified in our weaknesses."
"We believe that God is doing a wonderful new thing right here in this generation and it is an honour to play a tiny part in this. God is healing, saving, restoring and raising up people who are not afraid to share this Love with the world. We are excited about 2014 and eager to see lives transformed and impacted through 'Rhythms of Grace' and the message that God has seared on our hearts."
To celebrate the launch of their second album, the Remission Flow have worked with NoiseTrade to offer a free download EP (see right) featuring two songs from their debut album 'The Light That Floods', and two songs from the brand new release 'Rhythms of Grace'.
