'Everything' was recorded live on Sunday 1st July at King's, a diverse church serving the communities of South East London, and follows the church's 2009 release 'Mercy Giver'.
"I believe God is extremely creative - more creative than we can possibly imagine", explains Phil Varley, Executive Pastor at King's and worship overseer. "I believe the church should be a people who are therefore really creative as well. Music and songwriting are only a part of the creative gifts God generously gives, but they are important. God seems to have ordained that the combination of truth and melody can be truly explosive in our hearts.
At King's we are still learning how to do this, but God has been very gracious and seems to have owned our first few steps along the songwriting adventure. This next album will be a little marker on where we are on this journey - we hope you enjoy it and the songs move you to want to surrender everything you have to the one who is worth more than everything."
