For me Hannah Rose sounds like what a lot of female solo singers sound like, especially from America. The opening two uptempo pop numbers Sea of Love and The Good Life do what you would expect them to do: great poppy numbers with a small dance beat and some positive lyrics. Hannah does this style of song really well.
Her vocals and the style of songs that appear on this album sound very similar to Stacey Orrico, especially during the ballad Eye of The Storm. This song deals with the struggles and storms you might find during your life. With the lyrics in the chorus of "You can count on me..." this track will inspire the listener.
I'm sure this album isn't really aimed at a middle age man who grew up listening to Oasis and The Beatles, but actually there are some really enjoyable songs on this album. 'You And Me' is a great pop number, I Love You For That is a moody piano ballad and Hannah's vocals during Wasting Time sound brilliant.
If you know someone who enjoys listening to female pop vocalists, then Hannah Rose is a brilliant choice of album for them to get into.
