Louder Than The Music

Singer/Songwriter Brad Bates released a single, simply called 'Yours', which he hopes will be a great encouragement and reminder that God is in control, through the difficult times of a turbulent year in 2020.



"A few years ago (in 2017) I wrote this song a day after I had been fired from my job that I had held for almost 10 years", explains Brad. "My wife and kids (4 kids) were all that were on my mind... how was I going to take care of them when I just lost my job?

I sat down behind a piano and just sat there crying and playing random chords on the piano. At some point, these words began to just rise up in me, and by the time I was done I suddenly had a song.

This song is even more precious to me because when I recorded it, I actually was able to have my oldest daughter sing w/ me on the bridge...which, of course, gets me every time it gets to that part of the song."
