Emerging Christian Artist Briana Domenica Takes Her Listeners On An Inspiring Musical Journey With Release Of 'Warrior In Me' Album
Emerging Christian artist Briana Domenica is excited to release her new CD, Warrior in Me which is a true labor of love. Domenica co-wrote every song on the project and spent a great deal of time hand-picking every song. This 10-song collection perfectly represents Domenica as an artist. It takes her to a whole new level and invites listeners on an inspiring musical journey with a candid look into her life and compelling story where she transitions personal tragedy into something positive to help others. Each song is meaningful and highly personal sharing raw emotion and centered around important events in her life. The album which is already garnering the attention of music fans and industry professionals was featured on Radio SoBro's NuMu Friday where mutiple tracks and info on each song were shared. Warrior In Me was produced by Grammy award-winning musician Nate Cornell (For King and Country) at his studio just outside Nashville and is now available through all streaming platforms and digital retailers.
The first and very powerful single off the album of the same title was released on September 10th coinciding with World Suicide Prevention Day. The track was cowritten with industry veteran Keith Ridenour honoring all those who have lost loved ones to suicide, recognizing those who face their own struggles, and reminding them that you can overcome these obstacles and that you are not alone. This is a cause Domenica is very passionate about, having lost three members of her immediate family to suicide, including her brother. "I want this song to be an anthem for people struggling with the many issues life throws at us…I also want people to remember that no matter how bad it gets, there is a warrior inside each and every one of us and I hope this album provides continuous encouragement and strength to everyone who listens to it," Domenica added. She released the corresponding music video simultaneously via a 12-hour exclusive premiere with CCM Magazine.com, an online magazine about contemporary Christian music.
The video was directed and produced by Robert Chavers/Downbeat Creative (who has worked with artists including Kelsea Ballerini, Hannah Kerr, Craig Morgan, and Bobby Bones). Other highlights of the album include "With A Word," the first song Domenica wrote upon moving to Nashville with Ridenour and Dove-nominated singer/songwriter, John Lemonis of Crosby Lane. The duo also appears on the track making this an unforgettable vocal event. "Dare to Dream," was co-written with Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter, Nathan Woodard and inspired by Domenica's late brother, David who always said to her "Dare to dream the impossible and the impossible will happen." Every Time," which was co-written with Patrick Dodge, serves as a reminder that 'God is there 'every time', and "Let Love Carry On," which Domenica co-wrote with Ridenour upon learning of the bombing at the Ariana Grande concert in England which hit her hard because Grande attended middle school with Domenica. The lyrics also speak to the pandemic and current world issues.
Domenica is preparing to take "The Warrior in Me" tour on the road, both live and virtually. She is scheduled to film the video series later this month. "My hope is to raise awareness and to help save lives through suicide prevention, education, and the power of music," Domenica commented. Briana Domenica
has a positive and encouraging message for all ages and wants to use her music to make a positive difference in the lives of others.
