Astral Voyage, an international collective of creatives, technicians, and educators from over 25 different countries around the globe, releases their debut single entitled, FIYA!!!, on December 4th, 2020.
From creating uplifting music to conducting educational workshops, it is our mission to establish a global community built around self-empowerment by sending healing energy through music worldwide.
The highly anticipated song from this eclectic, international ensemble, brings the word “funk” into a completely new cosmic dimension. The music and lyrics of the song are written by Jason Faust, Creative Director and Founder of Astral Voyage. Jason produced and recorded the song in Spain with the international 8 piece band, later returning to the United States to move to Los Angeles. While driving across the country from Florida to California, he stopped in New Orleans on a mission to find someone who could sing the song with some deep soul! There, he met Josh Kagler, an accomplished New Orleans based singer, arranger, vocal coach, and choir director of the Harmonistic Praise Crusade. His dynamic vocal range and incredible power breathe life into FIYA!!!
This track features a collective of talented instrumentalists from four different countries. From wild slap-bass lines to fiery horn stabs, the band brings an organic, yet intense musical energy to the song. The featured soloist on FIYA!!! is none other than Wyldephyre, a North Carolina based alto saxophonist and electronic music producer. He co-produced the electronics on the song with Jason and performed a monstrous solo!

FIYA!!! embodies the message of acknowledgement through self-empowerment.
