Folk Grunge singer-songwriter Jessie Dipper, based in Cardiff, UK, has released her new single 'Sirens'. "This is such a big song for me, and has been a joy to make, in the build up to a project I’ve been working on for over a year", Jessie explains.

Jessie Dipper is an award nominated, emerging and currently unsigned ‘Folk Grunge’ singer-songwriter based in Cardiff, UK. Over the last 4 years, Jessie Dipper has successfully released 5 singles, 2 EPs and 1 Album through the determination of being an independent artist; showcasing her unique musicianship and lyrical artistry that has developed over the years. ‘Folk Grunge’ has become the fusion of Jessie’s musical influences within rock/jazz/soul from the likes of Stevie Wonder, John Mayer, Mary Mary and Jimi Hendrix and the indie folk/acoustic pop genres, inspiring Ed Sheeran, Mumford and Sons, Passenger and Lily Allen.

From a young age, she saw at first hand the pattern that music paints across culture. Having spent time growing up overseas (to then live in places across the UK such as London, Oxford and Essex) Jessie has continued this exploration as a solo artist through independently touring Melbourne (Australia) and Auckland (New Zealand) for 2 months at the end of 2018. Also travelling to countries such as Uganda, Nigeria, Sri Lanka, Romania, The Netherlands, Belgium and Dubai, working within communities as a songwriter/ story teller; and in other places with teams based in the Middle East working with locals.

Jessie has had the privilege of participating in an International Songwriting camp in Marrakech (Morocco) where she co-wrote alongside some of the best the UK independent music scene had to offer through Tileyard Music, getting cut with SONY for a particular collaboration for Love Island USA. She has also been featured with BBC introducing, Birmingham Music Awards, Open Mic UK, on national and international TV and radio and received recognition from top industry representatives.

In this ever changing world, here is an artist who passionately wants to communicate not just a message of hope, but the joy that comes from the struggle.
