Mitch Rossell Hits #1 on iTunes With '2020'
Singer-songwriter Mitch Rossell has released a new song titled '2020'. The song hit #1 on the iTunes Country Songs chart and debuted as the highest entry to iTunes Top Songs (All Genre). It's a stirring reflection on the past year with a strong and much needed message of hope, unity and faith.
'2020' is the follow up to his wildly received song 'American Dream'. Both of the songs fit really well together, in terms of this hitting home with American families, reflecting on a difficult year and leading up to inauguration.
Mitch Rossell's songs have been recorded by some of Country music’s biggest stars including Garth Brooks (“Ask Me How I Know”), Garth Brooks ft. Blake Shelton (“Dive Bar”) and Brooks’ Billboard Top 10 “All Day Long.”
Collectively, Rossell's songs have garnered over 7 Million+ streams across Spotify. His solely-penned song “Ask Me How I Know” was recorded by Garth Brooks, and hit the top of the Billboard Country Airplay charts, marking Brooks’ first No. 1 since 2007. Brooks invited Rossell to open his record-setting World Tour (2016), and called Rossell's work "...some of the best lyrics and melodies you’ve ever heard…” That tour was pivotal for Russell, as he took the stage night after night, winning over thousands of new fans and receiving standing ovations for previously unheard original material.
Rossell's recently released single "American Dream" followed his own version and independent release of "Ask Me How I Know" and "All I Need to See." The music video for "American Dream" premiered via CMT and was featured by American Songwriter, Sounds Like Nashville, and The Boot. In addition, Rossell was named in the Academy of Country Music's Top 15 Rising Artists and was featured by People.com, PopCulture.com and in The Tennessean's list of Nashville's Best Songs (2019).
