Dan Adams Releasing 'Revival Revolution' Album

Mar 16 2021

Independent singer songwriter Dan Adams releases his new single 'You Are', taken from his forthcoming album 'Revival Revolution' releasing on April 2nd, 2021. He has spent many years in the music business, with 10+ years in Nashville and roughly 5 years in Austin, writing, performing, and touring professionally in secular music for all of those years.

"About 18 months ago, God started me on a new path", Dan explains. "I initially felt led to join the worship team at my church - something I'd never wanted to do before, even though I have always been a working musician and had grown up in church. After that first step, I began to feel that I should occasionally lead with the worship team. A few months later, I began to feel that God wanted me to start writing songs for Him. So, I followed in obedience to that call - and over the course of the next several months, I wrote and recorded a CCM album. Well, actually, I wrote five of the nine songs on the album...there's also 1 traditional hymn and 3 cover songs by other artists that I love.

This song in particular was inspired by a message I heard Shane Willard deliver - and one line in particular stuck in my head and became the basis for "You Are". Shane said "....you are NOT the one exception to the grace that God shows us every day. And there's nothing that you can do or say that will cause God to turn his back on you." I took that premise, and I built this song around it.

I want to get this message of hope and God's love to as many ears as possible. I want people to hear that no matter how dark a place you may be in at this moment, it's not over. I want them to hear that it CAN get better....that God loves us, that we ARE worth forever, and he wants to meet us right where we are."
