This week's single features the voices of Janice Gaines, Taylor Leonhardt, Christa Wells and Mission House. It was co-written by Gaines, Leonhardt and author Trillia Newbell. I

"We Do Not Labor In Vain" is inspired by the story of Eve; one marked by deception, sin and pain, and yet above all by God’s closeness in women’s suffering. FAITHFUL felt a kindred spirit with her, the Mother of all living cursed by the pain of birth, and wrote ‘We Do Not Labor In Vain’ around the hopeful sorrow of new life. It is a celebration of the beauty of the bond between God and women. The catchy chorus invites all, women and men alike, to join in knowing that whether physical or spiritual, our labor might be painful but it won’t ever be in vain.
