Peter Barnardo Releases 'Heavenly Places' From Forthcoming EP
Peter Barnardo, an artist and music producer based in London, UK, has released his new single 'Heavenly Places'. It is the second of a 5-song EP, with each song to be released each month, and follows the release of Peter's single 'Starts with Your Love' which is also the title track of his self-produced EP, set for release on 23rd July.
'Starts with Your Love' is a bold and emotive 5-track EP which explores themes of God’s protection, transformation and courage. The EP also includes his previously released single 'Shelter of Your Wings'.
Peter has a vision for creating new music that reveals and connects people to the heart of the Father. And to accomplish this by using diverse sonic influences to create soul-driven, Spirit-inspired music that lasts. After the release of ‘Shelter of Your Wings’, ‘Pixel Wars’, and ‘Generation Why’ in 2020, he is set to release his EP ‘Starts with Your Love’ in July 2021 after the release of each single.
Peter played music from a young age, learning the piano. Not long after starting to follow Jesus at age 13 he picked up the guitar and began worship leading in his church youth group. Eventually he started to write songs and experiment with production in some of the most basic ways! In 2015 he released his full-length alternative rock album ‘Turn My Gaze Up’. Since then he has ventured out stylistically both in song-writing and production in order to carve out a distinctive tone that can operate in different genres.
Peter’s most notable production project was KuriA’s full-length ‘neo-soul/rock’ album ‘Into Me See’ which was released in May 2019, and he features as a co-writer and singer on the single ‘Father of Lights’, a fusion track displaying a diversity of musical influences. In 2019 he featured as an artist for ‘Psalm Lounge’, a North London based Christian live lounge event where he has also featured as an artist.
