New Album by Christian Indie Artist Spencer Annis, 'Safe Place'
With a musical style similar to artists such as Laity, Cory Asbury, Isla Vista Worship, and John Mark Pantana, Spencer Annis releases his second full length album 'Safe Place'. With prayerful vulnerability the album aims to inspire listeners to recenter their focus on Jesus alone.
The first two singles from the album: 'Safe Place' and 'The Invitation', landed placements on notable Spotify editorial playlists such as “New Christian Music Friday” and “Calming Christian” as well as some other large non-editorial playlists from “Amen Worldwide” and “Blssd Music”.
The album was released May 7th, 2021, and has already collected a combined 75,000 Spotify streams, giving Spencer’s catalog of music a total stream count of 1.4 million streams across all platforms.
Spencer Annis is an independent artist, producer, and worship leader living in Lynchburg, Virginia. Spencer creates music with the goal of leading people to personal encounter with Jesus through his vulnerable creativity. After a number of unofficial releases dating back to 2017, his first official full length album 'Wilderness' was released early 2020, introducing the world to Spencer’s unique pop/rnb sound which frames his prayerful songwriting style.
