Jaime Masetta Releases Third Single From New Album 'Parts of Me'
Jaime Masetta releases her third radio single 'Searching' from her new full-length album 'Parts of Me' which released on May 21. The album contains original songs written by Jaime and her producer Jerroll Lehman.
Jaime is a 20-year old American Christian singer, songwriter, and recording artist. Even though she spent the majority of her life wanting to be on Broadway, God called her to ministry in an incredible way. Though she was raised in a religious household, she didn’t have a close relationship with God until the tail end of her sophomore year of high school and even then, she was unsure. Through singing the youth group band at her church, Jaime started to really develop her relationship with God. In her junior year, God was merciless and called her to worship ministry. From that point forward, she put her love and energy into leading others to Christ through music.
She began working on her first five-song EP 'Stages of Hope' in 2019 releasing it in March of 2020 right before the world shut down. One year later, she released the full length album 'Parts of Me' that she worked on through the time we were all quarantined inside. This album has quite a few songs that were written as vulnerable, personal prayers. This includes the title cut which speaks to Jaime's journey trying to truly figure out who God called her to be.
"Sometimes I doubt that I’m right for this job and this ministry. When we were in that quarantine period, I spent a lot of time contemplating just that. The music I have written for this album is completely from the heart. In this past year since releasing “Stages of Hope” I feel like I have grown so much spiritually, musically, and emotionally. I’m so glad that through this difficult time, I was able to create something that people can relate to. My goal with my music is to have a song for every setting.
Worship is beautiful in a church, but it doesn’t stay there. The songs I’ve written are for you to worship in your car, your kitchen, your living room, the gym, or wherever you need it! My life is my worship and I love sharing it!"
