Jonathan Jenkins Releases Personal Testimony In 'Speak to Me'
'Speak To Me' is Jonathan Jenkins' very personal testimony and first single. Produced and written by Jonathan and Chucksingh Wong, not only was the producer of this amazing song a God send, but the message is that God is always there, we must sit back and be still and listen to what God is saying.
Jonathan Jenkins, who was born in Nuremberg, Germany, recently released 'Just Wait On Jesus'. His childhood involved extensive traveling, living in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Arkansas, Maryland, Washington DC, Virginia, Mississippi, Texas and now currently residing in Los Angeles, CA.
Jonathan started performing as a Child in Church (while visiting his Grandmother and family, in Toledo, Ohio). Because of his Father's Military career - his parents, Willie and Mom Jean, along with his 4 Brothers, moved to Cali in 1984. Amazed with finally being in the one city that he would constantly dream of as a child, Los Angeles became his home.
From that point, Jonathan immediately began his search for the perfect stage and started writing, recording and performing at many secular venues throughout the LA area.
Jonathan rededicated his life to Christ and joined Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church, under the direction of Pastor/Teacher George E. Hurtt, in Los Angeles.
There, he found inspiration in God’s Word and began writing about His mercy and grace by putting it all to music… and the result was his first project, 'God’s Gift', the CD which featured the singles and videos, 'Speak To Me' and 'Surrender All'.
