Tom & Melissa Pollard Release A Wake-Up Call To The Church With 'Songs of the Watchmen'
UK-based singer-songwriters Tom & Melissa Pollard are releasing their first full-length album 'Songs of the Watchmen' on 2nd July. This album draws on their experiences working as intercessors in Israel and America and is a call to the church to discern the times we’re living in and respond to the Spirit’s voice in this hour.
After a whirlwind romance, Tom and Melissa married in 2019, writing and recording a wedding EP they gave to each of their 400 guests. They spent their first few months of marriage ministering in a House of Prayer overlooking Mount Zion, where God opened their eyes to the compelling end-time drama unfolding across the earth. ‘Songs of the Watchmen’ captures this message in a bold carnival of colour, taking you on a breath-taking journey through intimate choral pieces, apocalyptic rock anthems and mesmerising folk ballads.
One of the songs on the album, ‘Watchmen’, is a prophetic declaration to the nations proclaiming the return of Jesus. With its soaring melodies, rich vocal harmonies and sizzling electric guitar, ‘Watchmen’ powerfully sings of Jesus the Jewish Messiah who is coming to establish His rule and reign on this earth.
“We believe these songs carry an urgent message to the body of Christ. We’re praying this album will be a blessing to watchmen across the world and that God will use it to impact the hearts of many people.”
Tom and Melissa’s new album ‘Songs of the Watchmen’ is coming out on 2nd July on all streaming platforms.
