Jemimah Paine Releases 'Friend' Feat. J Vessel
Popular Christian rapper J Vessel features on Jemimah Paine's new single 'Friend,' which she wrote with producer and songwriter Féz. J Vessel adds a captivating verse in the song which helps the single cross over from a more acoustic genre to touch on rap. J Vessel brings so much energy to the song.
Jemimah says: "I was so thrilled when J Vessel agreed to rap on ‘Friend,’ I feel very honoured that he was willing to collaborate and hope through this collaboration that this song reaches more people."
Jemimah is a classically-trained singer/songwriter, singing teacher & worship leader based in West London. Originally from the Island of Guernsey, Jemimah has sung since she was 7 and taught singing for the past 5 years. She moved to London in 2014 to study Theology, Music & Worship at London School of Theology. Jemimah has sung as a guest soloist for various concerts in Guernsey, London & Amsterdam.
She leads worship regularly at her local Church in Hammersmith & has been leading worship for a conference called Lifestream Europe over the past 4 years in Belgium. In January 2020 Jemimah released her debut EP ‘Anthems’. All songs on the EP are original. During lockdown 2020 Jemimah was involved in a number of music collaboration and co-writing projects and has released her second single ‘Use Me’ in September 2020 which is co-written by Fez, a South London based songwriter and producer and founder of OL creative. She is currently working towards another EP called 'Friend' which will release this summer.
Over the past few years Jemimah’s music has been played on BBC Guernsey & Jersey, UCB 1 and 2 and Connect Radio in the UK. She has been involved in events and performances with Graham Kendrick, James Bourne (Busted), David Gest, and the National TV awards.
