“It took me 11 years to realize that God gave me a dream that is worth fighting for and that my pursuit of that dream doesn’t make me a bad mother or wife. In fact, it’s the opposite,” Jennifer Marie explains.
“I feel called again to who God made me in a way that fulfills my spirit and allows me to prove to my friends, family and children that the Lord will always fight for you if you are still enough to hear His voice,” she says, paraphrasing Exodus 14:14.
The new artist wrote her debut single, which was produced by Sean Hill.
“I am a Christian songwriter who knows well what it means to have family and friends who are not believers. I am a songwriter that resonates deeply with the mother who has lost her way,” she says. “For anyone who has wrestled with pain or unanswered questions, I want to offer genuine empathy through my music."
“If the mission is to spread the gospel and bring people to the Father, then I'm happily living my life, an authentic life, to both the believer and non-believer alike in hopes of showing that Christianity, and the love of God, is real and tangible,” says Jennifer Marie.
Jennifer Marie first started playing piano at the age of 8, joining the middle school ministry worship team a few years later. By the time she was 15, Jennifer Marie was writing songs.
Life events followed, which included raising her young family instead of chasing her dreams to be a Christian singer/songwriter. On a trip to a cabin in the fall of 2020, God spoke to Jennifer Marie, a moment that reignited the woman’s calling to write music, play the piano and worship God through music.
“There is no dream too big or too small,” Jennifer Marie shares. “Remember that God lit a fire inside of your heart for a great purpose... I'm just asking you to not sell yourself short and to believe in the wonder working God we serve! It is never too late. You will never feel ready, but don't let the enemy stop you from proving what our mighty God can do.”
