Luke wrote the song with his friend Matt Caddick whilst reflecting on Psalm 29. They feel Psalm 29 is a prophetic Bible verse for this season of living in and coming out of lockdown. It says:- ‘Honour the Lord, you heavenly beings ; honour the Lord for his glory and strength. Honour the Lord for the glory of his name. Worship the Lord in the splendour of his holiness’. Their pray is that the song would help people to focus on the holiness of God whilst speaking into people’s everyday life situations.

This is an upbeat energetic rock praise song that has a verse, chorus and melody that is perfect for the local church to be able to pick up after only a few listens. I found myself humming the melody line of the chorus while I was busy working and that was only after a few listens. The song, as said in the previous paragraph, is all about honouring God for being God. It's the kind of song that says "Yes God You are amazing, we are here to worship You, so let's worship You".

From what I can gather from hearing about Luke and seeing and hearing his music, he seems like the kind of person who enjoys working with others, different singers, great producers and songwriters. With this release he has called upon the brilliant vocals of Lou Fellingham, and she does, as you'd expect, add a dimension to the song that elevates it. For all the songs creativity and the lovely sound and production created by the team, this song is about taking the worshippers to a place where they can declare their praise to God and honour Him.

This is a great song and another strong song to add to Luke Warehams' ever growing back catalogue of strong worship songs, and I actually can't wait to have all these songs placed together as a collection, let's even call it an album.
