Christian Artist Briana Domenica Aims To Inspire Others By Releasing New Music Video, 'With A Word' On World Suicide Prevention Day
Contemporary Christian singer/songwriter and inspirational speaker Briana Domenica is set to release her new music video, "With A Word," premiering TODAY at NOON CST on her YouTube channel. The upbeat and encouraging song, which has become a fan favorite off of her current album, Warrior In Me, is available on all digital and streaming platforms. The song was co-written with industry veteran Keith Ridenour and multi award-winning singer/songwriter and Dove-nominated artist John Lemonis (Crosby Lane). It was produced by Grammy award-winning musician Nate Cornell (For King and Country) at his studio just outside Nashville. The video was produced by Chris Beals and features Crosby Lane, a Nashville-based, husband-wife duo known for their signature Delta Folk music and storytelling.
"With A Word" shares a message especially powerful today, World Suicide Prevention Day, and for the entire month of September. September is National Suicide Prevention Month dedicated to honoring all those who have lost loved ones to suicide, recognizing those who face their own challenges, and reminding each and every one of them that - with faith and trust in God - you can overcome anything and you are not alone. With its lively and feel-good vibe, the song conveys a very important message to all, that although we may face struggles that we can not seem to overcome, no challenge is too big for God and that we can trust in Him to see us through.
"'With A Word' was actually the first song I ever wrote upon moving to Nashville. I came into the writing session with the concept of walking by faith rather than by sight, and John [Lemonis} immediately recited the lyrics for the first verse. I sat there in amazement not knowing what to say for several moments - it was truly a God thing," reflected Domenica. "Having experienced extreme loss and heartbreak in my life, and as someone who understands, I hope you find this song uplifting and that it provides continuous encouragement and strength."

Domenica will host "Shining a Light on Suicide Awareness" from 6-8 p.m. CST TONIGHT live from The Black River Stage located at Lipscomb University in The Well/Green Hills (4002 Granny White Pike, Nashville, TN 37215), one of the event sponsors. The benefit show & silent auction will feature Crosby Lane and will also be livestreamed and broadcast on Domenica's Facebook page, and locals are welcome to attend with tickets available at the door. Suggested tax-deductable donation is $20 per person and all proceeds will benefit American Foundation for Suicide Prevention Tennessee (AFSP), The Well, and Angel in the Sky.
"Music is one of my greatest passions, but I am also deeply passionate about suicide prevention and awareness after losing several loved ones to suicide, including my brother, and I have also struggled with suicidal thoughts myself. In an attempt to turn family heartache and tragedy into something good, I started my 501c3 (Angel in the Sky) in May of 2016. My hope is to raise awareness and to help save lives through prevention, education, and the power of music," Domenica commented. Angel in the Sky was also named after the first single off of her debut EP, Shine.
