Award Winning Music Artist Jenn Bostic Reveals Faith, Reignites Childhood Passion with Latest Release 'Leave it at the Cross'

Oct 14 2021

'Leave It At The Cross', the powerful new single from Jenn Bostic is available Friday October 15th, with the video releasing shortly after. From the song’s first line, “Father to the fatherless, defender to the weak,” Bostic reveals a personal expression of faith.

Co-written and produced by Benj Heard and Lauren Christy (Avril Lavigne, Bebe Rexha, Dua Lipa, Christina Aguilera, Katy Perry), Leave it at the Cross is the latest track from Jenn Bostic’s forthcoming album, set to release this Spring 2022.

Shooting the music video for Leave It At The Cross took Bostic out of her comfort zone, but reacquainted her with the physical art form of interpretive dance, one she loved, performed and trained in as a child, losing the time to commit to it as she grew older. Choreographer Sydni Simons brought her expertise allowing Jenn the confidence to praise through dance.

“By fully surrendering to God sonically and physically, I found a new sense of freedom,” says Bostic. “It is my prayer that through this video and song, others might be encouraged in doing the same.”

Leave It At The Cross follows the re-release of Bostic’s viral international hit Jealous of the Angels, which honors Bostic’s late father. Jealous of the Angels/Amazing Grace reached the Top 40 at Mainstream AC, and is presently heading Top 10 on the Southern Gospel Chart where it reached #14 this week. Her 2019 release Take My Hand debuted at #11 on the Christian/Gospel Chart.

Bostic has twice been named “International Touring Artist of the Year” by the British Country Music Association, and has won five (5) Independent Country Music Association Awards including “Best Songwriter,” “Best Musician,” and “Overall Winner.”

She performs sold out shows across the US and Europe including venues such as the Ryman Auditorium, Grand Ole Opry, and Lincoln Center.
