Mar 11 2010

UK based singer/songwriter Shane Beales is to release a limited edition version of his 'Heavy Clouds' EP as a digitally remastered CD on 19th March. The four track EP, previously only available as a download, was largely written and recorded over two days with former Delirious? guitarist Stu G and features grunge infused rock and delicate piano ballads.

The EP will come specially packaged with artwork from Katriona Beales and design from Jon Lockhart and includes an extra special box, full colour poster, stickers, lyrics and liner notes all limited to only 200 copies. In addition, anyone who pre-orders the CD will be in the running to win a free concert in their own home for them and their friends.

"To celebrate the launch of the CD I will playing a special launch gig at The Zanzibar, Liverpool on Friday 19th March where there will be the live draw for the prize winner!" said Shane. "I will be playing with my ever excellent band some highly charged musical escapades at my favourite venue in Liverpool and second home, the Zanzibar Club. The EP's will be on sale on the night. Tickets are available priced £4 and are likely to go very fast so get them as quick as you can for you and your mates."

Drawing on a range of diverse influences, 'Heavy Clouds' is the statement of Shane Beales setting out his stall for 2010. The tracks have been getting rave reviews too, with BBC Merseyside's Dave Monks regularly playing Shane's music and calling him in for a recent live session as well as receiving a glowing reception in all corners of the online world.

You can pre-order this highly collectable CD now for only £9 from the website.
