Pop/Worship Singer Josephine Grace Releases 'Higher Than The Heavens'
Josephine Grace, a Pop/Worship singer-songwriter living in Liverpool, UK, releases 'Higher Than The Heavens', her compelling debut Christian single, on Friday 25th March 2022.
The single comes after many years writing and producing Mainstream Pop. Keeping it local, this new song was recorded at The Shelter Studio in Liverpool with producer and instrumentalist James Andrew who collaborated with Josephine Grace as she co-produced this song and laid down the piano as well as her sweet and soaring vocals.
The mid-song build is worth waiting for as the song bursts with life from there after provoking a peaceful atmosphere from the off, soaked in lyrics drawn from Psalm 108. Josephine says “This song is something of beauty rising from the ashes of the last couple of years - it’s been a tough time for everyone in some way or another - for me, I lost my Dad during this time so I have reflected a lot on what I want my life to be about and in the end it’s spurred me on that the time is now to write more and sing out of my experience of faith and bring hope to others.â€
After spending her late teens and twenties in mainstream Pop with some local recognition and a self-produced album ‘High Time’ she has shifted gear into contemporary Christian music. Her sense of melody and intricate vocal harmonies and heartfelt lyrics are a notable feature of much of her work. A brand new EP - due to feature a wholesome mix of worship, pop and gospel - is in the making in 2022 featuring the lead single ‘Higher Than The Heavens’.
