Sarah Teibo Steps Out Of Comfort Zone With 'Belongs to You (Amapiano Remix)'

May 03 2022

Sarah Téibo continues to show her musical versatility with the release of her single 'Belongs to You' Amapiano Remix, which released on all music platforms on 29th April.

Featuring Canadian singer Kojo Dave and produced by foremost UK Female DJ - DJ Shunz, this is the second track from a multi-genre Remix pack of her Afrobeats single ‘Belongs to You’ set for release in Summer 2022. On this unique remix project, Sarah reinterprets the original Afrobeats song through collaborations with producers and artists from around the world. The first remix was released in February in the EDM style, featuring Brazilian singer Paola Carla and with Nigerian Sigag Lauren on production.

On the new release, Sarah says ’Amapiano is not exactly my typical sound, but I’m always up for a challenge and really enjoy experimenting with new sounds. This was also my first time working with a female producer and DJ Shunz definitely understood the assignment! I hope lovers of Amapiano music would find this worthy of an add to their playlists’.

Listeners will be introduced to Canadian singer Kojo Dave, who has also worked with other UK artists including Asha Elia and is known to fuse multiple vocals with intricate lyricism to create an unorthodox sound for the listener.
